Another Monday :( another Fairymoon challenge :)

We have another fab sketch over at Fairymoon Crafts this week and we are lucky to be sponsored by the lovely Susan over at Crafty Chaos and the lucky winner will get to choose any three paper sets/items.

Here is my card this week, I went to a demo on Saturday at Fairymoon with Sheelagh Tomsett and saw lots of ways with distress inks, so after a shopping spree I made the following card

I have embossed the top part of the card with a snowflake embossing folder from crafts too and stuck flat backed gems in the centre of each one. The tree is a stamp from Creative expressions, embossed with clear embossing powder and then I went over the circle with distress ink - faded jeans. Then the bottom strip of paper is from our sponsor Crafy chaos and is from the blue christmas set.

So what are you waiting for? pop over to Fairymoons to join in with the fun x

Fairymoon Crafts challenge

This week we have been asked to create a halloween themed card following the sketch

Now I really dont do halloween, I think its because I have been bought up to not celebrate it as my mum said it was begging so I was never allowed to go trick or treating. I have had no less than 5 attempts this week at the sketch and just couldnt get it to look right.

Here is my final attempt, still not happy with it but ran out of time to do anymore :(

I have used a magnolia image coloured with copics

Looking forward to seeing all of your creations

Something different!

I went to the fab Fairymoon Crafts yesterday for a make and take workshop, what fab value for £3.50!
The theme this time was the brag book and Mandy was very patient and explained how to get the folding right! I have never been that good with folding but feel much more confident now.

I cant wait for two weeks where I am booked into two classes!

Challenge 32 - Fairymoon Crafts

Time for a new challenge at Fairymoon Crafts and we are lucky to be sponsered by Crafty Sentiments this week

The lucky winner will get digis of the winners choice, these are fab as the lucky design team can vouch as we got a few to play with! Why not head over to http://craftysentimentsdesigns.co.uk/default.aspx to have a look.

The sketch this week is lucky for me a nice simple one, but very effective

For my card this week I used the image from Crafty Sentiments, coloured in with copics and given a bit of bling with my glitter glue

My background paper is from Papermanis, I love it as it has a bit of sparkle in it, the ribbon is a freebie from last year, or maybe even the year before off of a craft magazine, I have used a charm that I picked up from The Works, quite a bargain I thought as they were 6 for a £1 and there are three different designs in each pack. I also used a sparkly snowflake which is one of my other favourites for crimbo cards, snowflakes are my winter flowers when it comes to cardmaking lol!

Anyway hope you like it and it would be great to see more of you over at http://fairymooncrafts.blogspot.com/

Baubles everywhere!

This is my first card for the DT at Fairymoon Crafts and I was very excited to do this card

I have followed the sketch below and have used one of the very first stamps I ever bought from the bargain bin a few years back now. It is from Dovecraft and the serial no is DCR594, I thought it would fit well with the sketch as its narrow enough

I have coloured the baubles with Copics YG03,YG63,R17 and R29, then used G17 and R59 for the holly. I have also used a little glitter glue on the baubles as when my OH saw the card he thought it was apples and oranges, so he made me paranoid

I used the background paper from Papermania capsule collection and the poinsetta was from the little bag in the Docrafts goody bag

Looking forward to seeing your cards, make sure you post them over at http://fairymooncrafts.blogspot.com/ for us all to see and for a chance to win the fab prize below

Die cut Dreams Christmas Club

This is the first time I have entered this challenge and it certainly wont be the last!

The theme this week for challenge 37 is glitter, gems and ribbon. All of my favourite things. You can find the challenge over here http://dcdchristmasclub.he/

My card is suing a Whiff of Joy stamp that I have never even inked up before, naughty me! I have coloured her with copics and the glitter comes from stickles on her dress and the sparkly background paper from the latest Docrafts goody bag, and I just love it!

The ribbon is from Hobby house along with the gems.

Hope you like it

ABC Christmas

T - is for tree

I have made this simple card for this challenge using a pink petticoat tree image, matted onto green and light green coredinations card, on a background paper from my stash (sorry think it was a freebie)

Oh yes and the gems are from Hobby house
